2. is for the funny things you get EXCITED about.

At the age of 2.5yrs getting EXCITED over the smallest thing is a common occurrence. Whether it’s our cat Queen B running on our deck or a helicopter flying over, Moo moo finds it all exciting.


One of the funniest things Moo moo is getting excited about is going to the toilet. In our household of three we are currently in week 3 of toilet training. By far we think that this has been the hardest thing we have had to do in Moo moo 2.5yrs (well as far as we can remember). The first two days were the worst and Moo moo would not go to the toilet or on the potty, it was so frustrating! We were positive that Moo moo wasn't ready and on the third day something in her little head clicked. From that day onwards she would get so excited to hear herself pee until she decided to take the leap and do number 2’s. Then the excitement happens every time she does number 2’s. The big cheesy grin, saying goodbye to what’s going to be flushed down the toilet then followed by the proud “I’m such a big girl” walk, priceless! The funniest thing is when she gets excited when we go to the toilet (yes, we don’t get privacy anymore) and then she praises us. Poor Moo moo will be so embarrassed reading back on this and that everyone will know these things, oh well.

Excitement also comes in the form of freshly squeezed juices, cars and especially trucks! (Well actually she gets excited over food in general, our baby girl loves to eat). Moo moo loves to visit Auntie LRS especially because on the drive over there she can see all the working trucks. There’s a dozer, there’s a loader, there’s a digger then followed by “what are they doing’s?” We are so proud of our little tomboy and very impressed that she knows all the names of the trucks. As a kid, my mum used to buy LRS and myself matchbox cars and I especially loved the cars that we could open the doors.


Moo moo’s excitement over freshly squeezed juices became so much that going to the shopping centre we could not get away without buying her a boost juice. They were making a killing from us!! Papa (Hubby) thought about all the money we were spending on juice weekly that one day he came home with a whizz bang juicer. Moo moo loves her juicer and so far the juicer hasn’t let us down and it’s so easy to clean. We are still working out whether it spits out enough juice considering all the fruit we cut up.


What we would love to see through her beautiful eyes. Her excitement over all these things makes us get excited.
